Welcome To My Home Page
When I was looking for my dream car (or that which would eventually end up being so), I was looking for something affordable, clean, powerful, and still had the "late-model" look. Oh yeah, it had to be black!
I found it in a 1993 Camaro Z28, automatic, 63000 miles, out in Topeka for (which was cheap in '98...avg. '93 fetched back then!).
This webpage is dedicated to a special car, which I have proudly owned since September 5th, 1998. This car has greatly impacted my life and has taught me many lessons. I have so many wild stories about this car...it's unreal.

The Fury's Timeline
10/22/01...She sees pavement again! 113000 miles and still runs like a gem! (Shawn crosses his fingers and hope nothing else goes wrong...)
08/25/01...Bum tranny. Blows out and I end up in a Long John Silver's parking lot. Car gets towed 2 hours before I arrive to tow it to my house. Tow bill - .70...OUCH! :(
08/08/01...Scott and I successfully swap the TH-350 for a six-speed, heavily upgraded suspension, ported intake manifold to accomidate the monster 1050cfm T/B!
07/12/01...Get approved for another loan to repair the Camaro.
02/15/01...Made the last payment on my loan. The Camaro is finally mine! Yay! :)
06/05/00...Shop repaired TH-350...broke again 2 days later! ARGH! Camaro sits for over a year waiting for another transmission...>:P
05/12/00...Rear end breaks and craps out the "unbreakable" TH-350 on the shoulder of I-435. Shawn's car shows up on the news for slowing traffic to a crawl...talk about a traffic-stopper! :P
05/05/00...Camaro gets out of the shop with a retrofitted TH-350. Shawn races stupidly @ 119th & Roe and runs from the police that night...can't hit over 115 in the 3-speed...gets 4 tickets. :P
04/07/00...Broke my 2nd tranny @ KCIR on the first pass...(beat a C5 though!)
03/21/00...Stupid kid backs out of driveway @ friend's house and tags the driver side 1/4 panel...ugh
01/18/00...Front ground effect rips off on freeway...cheap paint-job :(
11/15/99...The Camaro breaks her first rear end (and transmission too! ugh.)...gets repaired a month later.
08/27/99...The Fury is born! She comes out of the shop good as new (sorta), new hood, ground effects, spoiler, badges, license plate, paint, wheels. I spent my insurance money wisely!
07/05/99...The Camaro gets its ass whupped! A GMC pickup slammed into the rear of my car in 5:00 traffic and pushed my car into a Mazda 323. I cried on the hood until she was towed away...:(
07/03/99...Tony (yes, the very same Tony that now runs Performance by Design!) installed my headers in his friend's driveway...at this time I also had gears, exhaust, K&N, pulleys, plugs & wires. Odometer read about 87000 miles around then.
01/03/99...The Camaro becomes a victim of hit-n-run...at 70 mph on I-35!! 2nd lesson to not rely on the police for help...
12/19/98...I learn my 1st hard lesson that you can't rely on the JoCo police to protect you. I also learned not to follow drunk people in other Camaros, because they will assault you with beer cans and kick your car!
10/98...I get my 1st (and my 2nd & 3rd) speeding ticket in this car this month.
09/05/98...I'm the proud 3rd owner of a well-maintained, bone stock Z28, 63000 miles.

Recent News
12/03/01...Due to both past and recent events, I have grown tired of the bad image true automotive performance enthusiasts have been given. I'm taking a stand against the vehicular discrimination we suffer from by filing a petition against the state, proposing that something be done. Wanna help?
